Formed in 2014, Little League Champs have historically been playing in the Washington, D.C. area as a pop punk/mash-up style cover band, frequenting the bar scene in Dupont Circle, on U Street, and in Arlington. Recently, the band decided to work together on writing originals, aiming for a sound that blends the musical styles of the pop punk era with modern elements of music. Their DEBUT EP titled Hot Ice! is scheduled for a release date of May 11th, 2018. The EP includes 5 original tracks and a cover of "Bad At Love" originally performed by Halsey. The band describes their sound thus far as being a mix of The Ataris, the score to Stranger Things, and Beyoncé.
